I Trust Sport is pleased to be a partner in the new Erasmus+ Project named “Guidance to Achieve More Equal leadership in Sport” (GAMES).

I Trust Sport – represented by company founder Rowland Jack – is a sports governance and sustainability consultancy based in London dedicated to improving the governance of international sport through collaboration. I Trust Sport works with institutions, federations, sponsors, and other bodies in sport on projects to bring about genuine change. Recent work includes governance assessments of International Federations in Olympic sports and ongoing support for the International Partnership Against Corruption in Sport (IPACS). Rowland was part of the team that developed the Code for Sports Governance in the UK, which set mandatory targets for gender balance in sports bodies that receive public funding.

GAMES is a 24-month project that seeks to increase gender equality in the key leadership and decision-making positions of National Olympic Committees (NOCs) by promoting structural changes in their governance, enhancing the understanding of the existing cultural barriers and encouraging NOCs to work with their member federations to create a sustainable change.

I Trust Sport will support the consortium to design the research methodology for the baseline study, as well as ensuring thorough analysis of the results. At the next stage, I Trust Sport will support partner NOCs in creating and implementing tailor-made Action Plans to improve gender equality in their leadership based on findings from the study and the most relevant practices/actions identified within the Global Pool of Actions.

I Trust Sport will apply its expertise in sports governance and gender equality in sport to ensure that the baseline study and the strategic Action Plans meet high standards and are fair.

Under the guidance of the project coordinator - the EOC EU Office – I Trust Sport is working on the GAMES project together with Equal Rights in Sport and 8 NOCs (Belgium, Czech Republic, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Latvia, North Macedonia and Turkey). Furthermore, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) will also act as a key player in terms of promoting and disseminating the project deliverables across all NOCs worldwide.
