Equal Rights in Sport – represented by the CEO and Prof Emerita Kari Fasting – is a vital player within the project consortium as it brings unique knowledge and added value in terms of gender equality in sport. Kari Fasting’s research has been concerned with various interests related to “equality and diversity” in sport across all EU member states with a focus on sport and exercise in the lives of girls and women. Accordingly, with more than 300 publications and several presentations as a speaker on different themes related to women and sport in the academic, Olympic and EU arenas.
